Application Hydrogenation, oxidation, reduction, lactonization and lactamization reaction. Suitable for the reduction of double and triple bonds, aromatics, carbonyls, nitriles, and nitro groups. Used in the conversion of ketones to methylenes by hydrogenolysis of enol triflates under neutral conditions. Catalyst for hydrosilylation of olefins with various alkyl dialkoxy silanes.
